Get a glimpse into the life of an astronomer. In Spring 2018, Professor Chris Mihos used CWRU Astronomy’s Burrell Schmidt telescope atop Kitt Peak, Arizona to study the nearby spiral galaxy M101 (also known as the Pinwheel Galaxy). He shares an inside look at the observatory, and explains how he uses the data to learn about galaxies and the stars that live inside them.
